Morinville, Alta. – In support of Fire Prevention Month, the Morinville Fire Department is hosting an Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday October 14. The free drop-in event will offer a variety of activities aimed at encouraging residents to practice fire safety and prevention.

The free Flowpoint Fun Skate is set to run on Sundays from 2:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Morinville, Alta. – The Town of Morinville is pleased to announce that Flowpoint Environmental Systems, a leading manufacturer and distributer of automated bulk water dispensing, septage receiving and water treatment systems, has signed an agreement as the title sponsor for free public skating at the Morinville Leisure Centre for the 2023-24 season.

Ray McDonald Park Pavilion construction completed
Splash park opening July 28 at 10am
Morinville, Alta. – The Town of Morinville is pleased to share that construction has been completed and the splash park will be opening for the season as of 10 a.m. on July 28.
Weather dependent, please be advised that Safe Sidewalks Canada will be performing concrete rehabilitation work along the southside sidewalk of 100 Avenue from July 12 to 14, 2023.

Forecasted rain moves activities to the Morinville Community Cultural Centre
Morinville, AB – Due to the current weather report of a 60-70% chance of rain and a risk of thunderstorms, all Canada Day activities will be moving indoors to the Morinville Community Cultural Centre, located at 9502 100 Avenue.
Morinville, Alta. – Today, Morinville Mayor and Council, along with Alexander First Nation’s Chief Arcand Jr. and Council, raised the Treaty 6 flag at Town Hall.
