Public Hearings are a legislated process under the Municipal Government Act that provide community members with an opportunity to give input to Council on matters requiring a Public Hearing before a decision is made.
You can participate by:
- Speaking in person, by registering before the hearing starts (register for scheduled public hearings by contacting legislativeofficer@morinville.ca)
- Joining by videoconference, if you register by the deadline listed in the public hearing notice (listed below) (register for scheduled public hearings by contacting legislativeofficer@morinville.ca)
- Sending a written submission by the deadline listed in the public hearing notice (listed below) (email to legislativeofficer@morinville.ca)
- Viewing the livestream of public hearings online, during the meeting on the Meetings of Council page
- Watching the recorded video of the Council meeting online, after the meeting has occurred on the Meetings of Council page
